Review by hotel critic
During our recent last-minute getaway from Dublin to Ballina, my family and I had the pleasure of staying at Twin Trees Hotel & Leisure Club. Nestled beside the enchanting River Moy, this charming hotel offered not only a delightful experience but also a serene atmosphere perfect for families. The delicious Irish breakfast served in the elegant Brosna Restaurant, overlooking the waterfall, was a culinary highlight, providing a warm embrace to start our day. The facilities, while historical, were meticulously maintained, retaining a sense of Irish boutique charm that I find captivating. I particularly appreciated the peaceful gardens and the quiet location that allowed my daughter to explore with ease, all while being close to Ballina’s vibrant town life. The staff were exceptionally friendly; their willingness to help my partner recover a lost phone was testimony to their dedication to guest satisfaction. If you're seeking an ideal base to explore the intriguing archaeological sites nearby, such as the UNESCO-nominated Céide Fields, look no further.
